Big Splash is the perfect place for kids during the hot Canberra summer. The capital’s only waterpark located in Macquarie, features nine slides, a play pool and a kiddies’ pool. Open seven days a week, 10am – 6pm.

NGA Play is the best art fun for kids, families and the young at heart. Join its storyteller for tales of wonder and adventure inspired by the works of art in the Versailles exhibition. Every Wednesday in January, 10.30am – 11.30am.
Make a Gingerbread House at the National Archives
Kids will take part in a Gingerbread House making workshop, where they can use the inspiration from the Iconic Australian Houses exhibition. Suitable for children 8-12 years of age. Running from 18 January 2017, 10am – 12pm.
