Cabin fever is hitting me hard, guys

As we continue to adjust to being at home, it’s beginning to dawn on me that I am feeling cooped up, isolated and generally a bit crappy. While I could attribute this feeling to a range of things (ie. my screentime is up 900% from panic-reading the news at 2am) I’m going to blame it on the gaping hole in my heart and social life left by the absence of Friday night drinks and charcuterie boards with the girls.

And while you’re thinking to yourself “have you not heard of a virtual happy hour?” there’s something about sitting by yourself on the couch with a bottle of wine that just doesn’t feel the same. Thank God I realised that a bunch of Canberra venues have created take home charcuterie boards so you can recreate the experience at home.
