This year, Floriade is upping its food game, bringing in the best food trucks and stalls from Canberra and NSW to one mouth-watering foodie destination. Running from 4 September to 13 October, if you weren’t already thinking of visiting Canberra’s annual flower festival, these food spots alone are enough to make you want to visit.

Papi Deli

An Italian food van is making its Canberra debut at Floriade this year, dishing up fresh focaccia sandwiches made with authentic ingredients. Bringing the essence of Italian deli heritage, Papi Deli’s menu consists of five mouthwatering sandwiches made fresh by hand. While you can choose one sandwich to enjoy in between exploring Floriade, Papi is also offering a picnic pack inclusive of two sandwiches, two drinks, Italian season fries, and a delectable tiramisu.

Cheeky Crumbles

If you’re on the hunt for a cheeky treat to conclude your trip to Floriade, get a classic fruit crumble from Cheeky Crumbles. Made-to-order, pick from a variety of fruit compotes before getting a buttery crumble scooped on top with custard and ice cream.

Underground Spirits Gin Garden

Inspired by the regency romance of Netflix’s Bridgerton, Underground Spirits has returned with its gin garden, but with a brand-new theme. Collaborating with Floriade, taste the diamond of the season; Lady Floriade Gin, as well as a range of other spring-themed cocktails using Underground’s products. For those looking for a truly decadent experience, reserve a private table in the Underground Spirits Cocktail Domes and indulge in teapot cocktails, traditional Danishes, pastries, quiches, and an exclusive Floriade Tart.

Swirle

Delicious strawberries dipped in rich melted chocolate is what you can expect from Swirle’s food truck. Offering a selection of chocolates, nuts and various other toppings, customise your cup and eat it on the go.

Bianco

Italian cuisine approved by Nonna herself, Bianco is turning heads with its generous servings of gnocchi and handmade pasta in delectable sauces including cheesy spaghetti tossed in a parmesan wheel.

L’epi Bakery

Bringing a slice of France to Floriade, L’epi Bakery is hosting a stall with an indulgent selection of freshly baked goods. From traditional bread, specialty pastries and custom cakes, it’s the perfect afternoon tea. If you join Underground Spirits in their cocktail domes, you’ll also find a L’epi creation in the form of a Floriade inspired tart.
