The launch of Movember has sparked awkward upper lip fuzz on mo-bros around the country, from flamboyant boonie styled, to well kempt wannabes.
But it’s not just all fun and fuzz. The month-long event raises money for prostate cancer research and depression, aiming to increase awareness and change attitudes towards male health issues.
King O’Malley’s Irish Pub will be the hub of all things Movember which will culminate with a Movember Gala Parte where mo-clad men will strut their stuff on the catwalk, competing for the esteemed title “Man of Movember.”
Judging begins at 7pm and takes place in several categories, with the judge’s ultimately crowing one moe-d man ‘The man of Movember.’
Local celebrities will grace the judges panel, with 104.7’s Scotty and Nige mixing things up as animated MCs.
Post judging “The Max Power experience” will take to the stage with cover classics till late.
You’ll have the opportunity to rub shoulders with famous moes, enjoy a sausage sizzle, with The Rotary club of Canberra east, and win great prizes all night long.
