Iconic Canberra favourite, Zeffirelli has just launched the third restaurant of the Zeffirelli name, with a jumbo treat for Camp Quality.
The team celebrated the official opening by providing free food, drink and entertainment to over sixty children, parents, staff members and volunteers from Camp Quality.
Joe Pelle from Zeffirelli said, “We were really ecstatic to be able to contribute to a great cause in our own unique way. It was a rewarding experience to see children and their families laughing and having great time together while being out at a restaurant.”
Zeffirelli celebrates its tenth birthday this year. The opening of Manuka is another special milestone achieved by the restaurant in 2008, and the celebration held with Camp Quality was a fitting way to commemorate the opening.
Zeffirelli is now open to the general public and is expected to dine and entertain thousands of people weekly. The restaurant currently seats approximately 250 people with a large deck to be finished soon, seating another 250 people.
