“It was important to me to open on the south side, as living on this side of Canberra, I noticed a real need for designer labels and something more edgy then the mainstream chain stores the local market seems to be flooded with,” Rose, boutique owner said.
A one stop shop, Lair stocks the latest from Religion, Buddhist Punk, Freesoul, Push Play, Nookie, Birds of a Feather, Mogil, Urban Originals and many more. Men will be pleased too, with an edgy range of urban wear from national designers.
“We stock very limited stock and sizes of most of our pieces, as well as that, we carry a lot of labels that are exclusive to us in Canberra.”
All pieces are handpicked by Rose, resulting in the best mix of quirky and limited pieces, from street to evening.
“I wanted to make sure there was something for everyone, and cut through the clutter, so I hand pick everything you see on the rack.”
