The team at Peppered Prawn have just launched a new style menu, now offering much more than just the freshest seafood.
“We’ve made some changes. We are moving towards modern Australian with a seafood emphasis, and this is reflected in the new menu,” Owner, Bill said.
Leading Canberra as one of the industries top seafood restaurants, Peppered Prawn will still be serving the freshest and best quality seafood produce, only with a handful of surprises on the menu, sure to impress all non-sea food eaters.
“We’ve introduced dishes like our slow roasted free-range five spice duck, our King Island sirloin, paella, risotto and the linguine, which can all be served with, or without seafood. We are definitely adding flexibility.”
The team have also introduced a brand new lunch menu, with quick meal options, perfect for the time scarce lunch break, as well as lighter options, for calorie counters.
Bill and the team have had a fantastic response to the ‘new style’ Peppered Prawn and extension of meal options.
“It’s been great, we are getting patrons who say they normally dine in Kingston or Manuka, so it’s nice to be able to offer them a sophisticated, modern Australian dining experience in Woden.”
“When the plates come into the kitchen without a trace of food remaining, you know you’re doing something right.”
Since its conception, the Peppered Prawn focus has always been on the freshest, quality produce, sourced ethically from all over Australia.
“Even though we have enhanced our menu with new dishes, our standard will never be compromised.”
The team are seafood gurus, with vast industry experience and an eye for quality.
“We source our Wild Barramundi from the Wild River in Northern Territory, our prawns are from Queensland, lobster from Western or South Australia, King Island for beef, Victoria for goats cheese, it has to be the best.”
With a very scarce number of Canberra restaurants offering a seafood menu as extensive as Peppered Prawns, you’d be truly missing out if you didn’t pop in for a meal and take full advantage of Australia’s high quality seafood, prepared by some of the industries finest.
“We want to educate Canberra about seafood. You don’t have to wait for a special occasion or a Saturday night, you can eat seafood everyday! It’s a natural product that’s not interfered with, and it’s good for you too.”
