Canberra Wine Week is catered to wine drinkers and foodies alike as your palette will indulge and savour every hint of fruit, nut, spice and herb of each stemmed glass. Patrons will have a vast choice of over 20 events being hosted.
Picnics in the Vines offers a romantic picnic in the tranquil vines with your partner or grab a gang of friends and enjoy the food and wine provided.
Grape stomping will commence at the Murrumbateman Winery – so wear your least favourite pair of shoes, or lack of shoes to be exact. This is your chance to get down and dirty with a barrel of grapes.
On Saturday the Harvest Festival at Cellar Door will offer a vast range of wines, local foods and live music. For the whole family it will be a great experience. Take a guided walk through the vineyard looking at our Tempranillo blocks, Rock Block, Dry Spur and Little Dam. Taste the wines and see the sight that brings them to life. Locally sourced cheese plates and tasting platters will be available for purchase throughout the day; these include Homeleigh Grove Olives, Poachers Pantry, Flinders Estate Cheese and much more.
Canberra Wine Week runs from 21-29 March. Tickets may be purchased HERE
