On Friday 26 March, hats were being fitted just so, bows were being tied and manicured hands were slipped into lace gloves, all in preparation for Hats & Gloves High Tea at Government House.
The event ran in support of ‘Friends of Malkara’ Fundraising Committee for Malkara Special School.
Fashion was undoubtedly a highlight, with local boutiques Soho & Momento Dezigns walking the runway alongside Canberra milliners, Christine Waring and Cynthia Brighton.
Autumn/Winter pieces were on display, with an emphasis on evening, racing and garden party looks, fitting for the occasion.
The runway show impressed, with the female dominated audience oohing, ahhing and making mental notes of their next purchases.
