Virginie Castaway is a French label known for it’s refined and often un-buttoned fashion forward elagance. But who is Virgine Castaway and how did Australia influence this chic Parisian’s style aesthetic?
Virginie grew up in an artist’s family in the North of France. “My parents have always taught me to open my eyes and they gave me the chance to express myself through a lot of things like drawing, music and by taking dancing classes,” Virginie said.
After 3 years of fashion school in Paris and 7 years working as a buying Chief Manager for a big French company, Virginie decided to change her life and fly to Sydney, Australia.
“I fell in love with Australia and stayed to create Virgine Castaway.”
In 2006 she flew back to Paris where she resides.
