Australia’s first fashiontv Diamond Model Awards hosted by the leading fashion channel (ftv) launches nationally this month.
In pursuit of Australia’s crème de la crème of the model world, ftv will be coming to Canberra’s very own Meche, for a series of catwalk heats and a Grand Final event.
Canberra’s Grand Final winner will go on to compete at the National Grand Final to be held on Monday 2 November, which coincides with Melbourne’s illustrious Spring Racing Carnival. Canberra’s Grand Final winner will also win a complete photoshoot by Nik Studio.
What would an ftv event be without a party? Each heat at Meche will conclude with a ‘we love ftv’ after party not to be missed.
The Official ftv After Party, following the Grand Final on September 25 will be covered by the ftv film crew and feature ftv promotional models; an ftv certified panel of judges; celebrity guests; photographers and more of the glamour that has already made ftv parties famous around the world.
The winner of the National ftv Diamond Model Awards will receive a highly coveted position as ftv ambassador for 1 year, in addition to an enviable prize package worth over $100,000.

All events will take place at Meche. Doors open at 8pm, with the runway show starting at 9pm. Heat cover charge is $10 at the door. Sip on very fashionable Grey Goose Vodka cocktails for $7, all night long.
