Last Saturday Local Health Performance Centre, Eighty8 and YMCA Canberra hosted Canberra’s biggest virtual community to help get Canberrans moving and motivated. With over 500 registrations and great success, Keep Canberra Moving is returning on Saturday 4 and 11 September at 8:30am!
To recap, the free event runs for an hour and is a mix of HIIT and Pilates training by qualified Eighty8 coaches. All movements are body weight and no equipment is required to join. The session format is designed to suit all training levels. Local DJ Reinhold will also be joining us again, providing the tunes for your weekend workout.
“Eighty8 has always placed community and culture first and that has played a major role in keeping our members connected and active. We want to share some of that positivity from our community with the rest of Canberra to ensure better long-term outcomes for all,” says Eighty8 Health Director, Tyler Stevens.
It was so great to see so many Canberra faces, let’s show our amazing community spirit again, while we’re all stuck at home and join together for an amazing energy boosting workout.
