It’s Negroni season baby! Here’s 7 to taste

If you’re partial to the classic Italian cocktail Negroni, you’re probably aware 12-18 September is Negroni Week! And if you’re looking to celebrate with the perfect blend, whether it be just a classic or with a twist, here are the Canberra restaurants and bars that are getting around this very important week.

Monster Kitchen & Bar

Stirring up a Negroni but not as you know it, Monster is blending two classics together to create the ultimate classic – ‘The Decadent Count’, a coffee and Negroni mix. Partnering with St Remio Coffee, the exclusive cocktail creation is available for Negroni Week only and will see $1 from every Negroni sold donated to the Slow Food organisation.

QT Hotel

Celebrating one of their favourite cocktails for the whole month of September, QT Hotels have curated a special cocktail menu ‘Bitter & Twisted’. Showcasing six new-age Negronis, each stirred with layers of local influence, QT is putting all preconceived Negroni notions in the past. Guests can take a tour through each QT city with a different specialised cocktail for each location, including the ‘Canberra’, made with Four Pillars Bloody Shiraz Gin, Campari, Bianco Vermouth and Elderflower Liqueur.

Zaab

Zaab is ready to shake, stir and pour their way through another week of trade, with the addition of their own versions of the classic Negroni. For Negroni Week only, set yourself up at the bar and try their delicious mixes including a Spring Thyme, Winter Spice and Autumn Smoked Negroni.

Negozio by Amelia

Open just in time to celebrate Negroni Week, Negozio by Amelia is slinging Negronis as usual with $1 from every sale during the week donated to Lifeline ACT.

Leyla Bar

For the week only, Leyla Bar will be donating $2 from every cocktail ordered from their Negroni menu to the Slow Food organisation. If you’re yet to explore their extensive menu, including a Figjam and Shiraz Negroni, now is the perfect time!
