Canberra’s annual Craft Beer & Cider Festival keeps coming back bigger and better, with 2023 being no exception. Alongside a lineup of over 45 craft breweries from around Australia, for the first time, distilleries have been added to the list too.

Held on Saturday 18 March from 11am-6pm at Mercure Canberra and the adjoining lawns of Batman and Gooreen Street, the festival will present up to 250 craft beers, ciders and spirits for tasting. Holding a strong presence on the day will be Canberra’s rapidly emerging brewing scene, which will see the likes of BentSpoke Brewing Co, Capital Brewing Co, Cypher Brewing, Ale Mary and more! While interstate you can expect renowned breweries such as Sydney Brewery, Better Beer, Stone Dog Meadery, Mountain Goat Beer, Lord Nelson Brewery and 4 Pines Brewing.

If cider or spirits are more to your taste, also find Cedar Creek Cider, Billson’s, Ambrosia Distillery and Mr Black, for a range of ciders, vodkas, gins and whiskeys.

Complimenting the huge list of beverage tastings will also be a mouth-watering selection of street eats from BBQ, pizza, nachos, burgers and fish & chips.

Then, as you walk around the festival tasting beers and sinking your teeth into delicious eats, you can also enjoy live entertainment from local bands Archie and Rubix Dudes, with a local DJ spinning throughout the day.

“The new-look Festival will provide a tremendous showcase for Australia’s best brewers and distillers,” said Canberra Craft Beer & Cider Festival Organiser, Jenny Farrell.

“To have such easy access to over 45 craft brewers and continuous entertainment for as little as $33 makes it a perfect day out for both serious lovers of craft beers, cider and spirits, and those who just want to enjoy a fun, vibrant event in a really attractive setting,” she says.

General Admission tickets are $33 online or $45 on the day and include five drink tokens. To purchase yours, head to https://www.canberrabeerfest.com.au/
