Spice up your life this week with Verity Lane Market’s newest dedicated food week!

Taking place from Thursday 16 March to Saturday 25 March, if you love your food with a little heat then join them as each vendor celebrates the spiciest foods of their country with Chilli Week.

From Pasta and Pizza Artigiana think a fiery Penne all’Arrabbiata where diners can choose their own type of chilli and Nduja & Cheese and Inferno pizzas with the option of adding Nonna’s famous hot sauce!

Then, Super Bao has added a loaded fries to the menu with pork mince, homemade chilli oil and aioli sauce, while Rasa Rosa is serving a chilli chicken Ayam Rarang which we are told is not for the faint-hearted.

“All of the dishes on offer for Chilli Week have strong connections of vendor’s cultural routes including Singapore, Indonesia, China and Italy,” says Operations Manager, Ben Answerth.

“These countries relish their spicy food and in many ways are famous for it. We can’t wait to share this experience with our customers and rouse their tastebuds.”

With the vendors offering up their hottest dishes, the bar is no exception, with a range of chilli-infused cocktails also set to make mouths water. These include a spicy passionfruit margarita with house-made habanero infused agave.

“Don’t worry, if you really need a glass of milk to calm the mouth down, we’ll have that available too,” says Answerth.
