From the streets to your sheets, meet your new cheeky late-night satisfier, Senn Noods.

Coming soon to Lonsdale Street in the courtyard of the NIBU building, Senn Noods is providing your favourite noodle cravings before you have time to click play on that next episode.

As the passion project and brainchild of Becky Khanthavongsa, the force behind Braddon’s much-loved restaurant Zaab, you can rest assured those same vibrant Lao and Thai flavours are embedded in each dish.

Playfully named after ‘senn’ which translates to noodles in both Lao and Thai, the restaurant’s cheeky play on words will translate to the plate through quick and satisfying noodles.

Mirroring Southeast Asia’s vibrant and bustling streets, if you’re dining in expect noodles, pad thai, kebab balls and Zaab’s famous bagged cocktails. And if you live in close proximity, consider your new ‘Netflix & chill’ buddy sorted!

Sharing the same foundations as Zaab, Senn Noods is all about sharing exceptional (and accessible) food with friends and family.

“Zaab’s offering has evolved over the years, and we saw the opportunity to take the concept back to the streets,” says Becky.

“This concept will be a lot more casual. A no-frills kind of vibe with a big focus on late-night feeds on the weekends. And, for all the people wondering – you’ll be able to get your favourite Pad Thai fix at Senn Noods,” she says.

Inviting locals to experience this saucy new spot for themselves, Senn Noods is going to host a public launch event featuring menu sampling, a DJ and even a spicy noodle eating competition.

With the event date to be announced very soon, keep up to date with the latest deets via their socials. And for those who live in neighbouring suburbs, keep a look out for Senn Noods on Uber Eats.

Give into temptation and Senn Noods!
