Spring Fashion High Tea at Hyatt Hotel

To celebrate the blossoming of Spring, Hyatt Hotel Canberra – A Park Hyatt Hotel is launching its new seasonal High Tea menu with a stylish afternoon of fashion, cocktails and shopping with fashion label, birdsnest.

Bringing the popular and much loved Cooma-based retailer to the Capital, the almost sold out Spring Fashion High Tea will take place on Saturday 21 September.

Guests will enjoy a welcome cocktail by fellow Snowies-based business, Wildbrumby Distillery, before experiencing the new three-tiered High Tea menu designed by recently-appointed Head Pastry Chef, Anita Chung, pictured. Inspired by the changing flora, Anita’s menu is a light and playful take on classic Australian dishes, including a signature carrot cake that is sure to surprise and delight. Having worked in top pastry kitchens around the world, Anita brings a contemporary flavor to Canberra’s most iconic High Tea.

For the fashionistas, the interactive parade will showcase the latest spring 2024 collection from birdsnest’s in-house labels, all designed in Cooma, NSW and hosted by much-loved stylist, Sandy Schofield, featuring birdsnest’s team of ‘wardrobe wingbirds’ as models. Seeing a natural symmetry between fashion and food, Sandy is looking forward to bringing birdnest’s latest collection to The Tea Lounge. Following the parade, guests will also have the exclusive opportunity to shop the showcased pieces at the birdsnest pop-up store.
