Block out your Saturday, because Canberra’s late-night bar, Squeaky Clean, is having their first birthday party and they are taking over the entire lane.
Promising burgers, beers, tunes and even a gladiator pit, from 2-11pm, head into Verity Lane for an epic outdoor FREE 18+ party. A celebration and also a thank you to everyone, owners of Squeaky Clean say they couldn’t have done it without the support of locals.
“We opened Squeaky Clean with the intent to build a community and want to say thank you to everybody who has supported us this year, and that is why we decided to throw this big birthday party as a free event,” says Owners, Jonathan Murphy and Claudia Bonifacio.
Inviting a lineup of local artists on stage to perform on the Soul Defender, including Charlotte & the Harlots, The Degenerates, Big Reef, and Grim Tilla and the Yellow Sound (plus more), there will be tunes all arvo long. An inflatable gladiator pit and other activities will also take centre stage in the alley, free for anyone to join in.
Ensuring no one is left hungry (or thirsty), enjoy juicy burgers from All About Burgers and two pop-up bars with beers from Capital Brewing Co. and Gage Roads Brew Co., as well as wines from Doom Juice.
If you’re hanging around past 11pm, the after-party will continue into the early hours of the morning at Squeaky Clean.
