On the shores of Lake Burley Griffin with a cocktail in hand, bid farewell to another amazing summer season in the capital at The Boat House’s Lake Side Sesh.
Signalling the end of the warmer months, enjoy an evening of lakeside party vibes on the picturesque lawns on Saturday 29 March from 6pm.
Taking care of the food, The Boat House kitchen team will be serving delectable canapés and charcoal BBQ and paella stations. Rest assured, drinks will be flowing, with bottomless Lost Phoenix Vodka & Gin cocktails, ice-cold Capital Brewing Co. beers and a selection of Collector Bubbles & Rosé.
“We’re showcasing some of our favourite ingredients and flavours to celebrate the end of the season,” says Head Chef, John Leverink.
Taking care of the early evening to late-night vibes, Brother J will be bringing the beats. Guests can also hop aboard a Love Boat at sunset on a 103-year-old MV Reliance and set sail on the calm waters of the lake.
“We wanted to create a party that captures everything we love about a Canberra summer—the fresh air, the lake, amazing food and, of course, good company,” says Owner, James Souter. “Step onto our lawns and you’ll feel like you’ve been whisked off to a secret waterfront oasis right here in the heart of Canberra.”
