Canberra’s most beloved Easter tradition is back, and it’s bigger, bolder, and more breathtaking than ever. From 17–21 April 2025, Exhibition Park in Canberra (EPIC) transforms into a vibrant hub of music, dance, poetry, and community spirit as the National Folk Fest celebrates its 56th year.
With over 350 events spanning five days, this year’s lineup is a feast for the senses. Expect performances from acclaimed artists, experience the rich tapestry of First Nations voices, including Stuart Joel Nuggett, The Stiff Gins, and poet Sassi Spirit, and be captivated by world-class instrumentalists.
The festival isn’t just about the music. Dance the night away at the Bridgerton Ball, embrace heritage at the Masked Ball, or let loose at the Latin Fiesta. Engage in workshops, join community ensembles, and immerse yourself in creative sessions that celebrate folk traditions from around the world. Family-friendly fun awaits with circus acts, storytelling, and hands-on activities designed to delight all ages.
Whether you’re a seasoned folk enthusiast or a curious newcomer, the festival offers a welcoming space to celebrate and connect.
