This November, the new HOTBOX Music Festival is putting together a stacked line-up of local, national and international artists covering multiple genres.
Hosted indoors at Exhibition Park, experience everything from reggae, hip-hop, RNB, moombahton, drill, EDM and more all under one roof. With 15 artists in total including five local artists, see many who have never performed in Canberra before. Leading the charge will be Lisi, one of Australia’s biggest names in the drill scene, hip-hop artist Wombat, Reigan Derry who has both national and international accolades and Bombs Away who together are behind the massive hit song Running up that Hill. International, Erik Solo and Moombahteam will also be performing their biggest hits.
A joint collaboration between ROK MUSIQ and MGMT REVOLUTION, the idea behind ROQ Group and HOTBOX Music Festival was intended to create an experience for festival goers that enables them to listen and watch artists perform from multiple genres. Passionate about our own local talent, the team are excited to provide a platform for new and upcoming Canberra artists.
“It is an absolute dream and privilege to be able to create something for our city that we love and appreciate to our core,” says ROK MUSIQ Founder, Reinhold Kamilo.
“It is this mixture of genres confined in a space where they can create an ambience of heat and energy that will ensure that the attendees feel charged and electrified by the live performance, visuals and sounds of the event,” says MGMT REVOLUTION Founder, Alan Lo.
“With ear-popping sound systems, amazing lighting and visual effects, HOTBOX will not be like anything Canberra has seen before,” he says.
On the day there will also be a great range of food vendors for attendees to recharge in between sets, including 5th Avenue Canberra and Red Bull. Merchandise will also be available including glow sticks, shirts, led bands and more.

HOTBOX Music Festival is on Saturday 12 November from 2pm, general admission tickets go on sale on Monday 17 October via Eventbrite.
