Every sense will be stimulated from the endless choices for Enlighten Festival this year; from the Night Noodle Markets all the way to the film-centred Lights! Camera! Canberra!
This culinary wonderland will come just in time to celebrate the city’s birthday with Canberra Day (9th March) and the illuminating fireworks display of Skyfire (14th March). You will become a morning person as the Canberra Balloon Spectacular rises again from the 7th to 15th of March as a sea of hot hair balloons pepper the sky with colour. Commemorate Canberra’s entertainment with Lights! Camera! Canberra! (6th March) as they entertain us with locally made films; followed by Symphony in the Park (8th March) as the musicians will soundtrack your relaxing picnic giving your dinner a sunset soaked touch.
The Night Noodle Markets will offer an exciting new menu and dietary options that come just in time to celebrate the city’s birthday with Canberra Day, followed by the illuminating Skyfire to cap off the festivities. Until 9th March exotic light installations and projections will alight against Parliament House, the National Portrait Gallery, the National Gallery of Australia, the Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House, the National Library of Australia and Questacon in a sea of sound and colour.
