The 90’s are the new 80’s and in fashion we know what goes around, comes around. At least that’s the case this season, with the beloved Doc Martins cult high-top style making a mammoth comeback.

Much of this trend can be credited to Agyness Deyn, who has been sporting her own Docs since she launched into the scene in 2007.

So how do you re-live the 90’s without looking too, well 90’s? Team the boots with a mini skirt, skater dress or short floral dress. This time around the look is about ‘legs,’ so don’t wear them with jeans unless you want to look masculine.

Short legs? Never fear, go for a ‘low top’ and loosen the shoe laces to open your boot a little, this will show more leg and give the illusion of longer, leaner pins.

Looking for a dressier option? The heeled black boot is also set to be big this winter, with chunky hard wear and buckle adornments adding a roughness and urban feel to a feminine look. Add printed tights for a vintage flair.
