You may recognise Tommy Little from Channel 10’s new chat entertainment show, This Week Live which he co-hosted with fellow comedians Meshel Laurie, Tom Gleeson and Dave Thornton last year. To top off a huge 2013, Tommy also landed the most coveted spot in Melbourne Radio with his weekend breakfast efforts on Nova 100!
We sat down with Tommy recently to ask him a few questions in the lead up to him visiting and performing his new show, Tommy Little – LIVE! here in Canberra!
1) What can we expect from your new show for Canberra Comedy Festival?
You can expects shits, giggles and even more shits. You won’t learn anything from my show but you’ll definitely have a good laugh and might even meet a few friendly lesbians in the crowd (see below).
2) What is the best/worst heckle you’ve ever received?
When I just started in comedy my brother used to come to the shows and think it was hilarious to heckle. It doesn’t matter how well your night’s going it can be quickly ruined by someone yelling, “You wet the bed until you were 10!”
3) Have you been to Canberra before? What’s your favourite place to go of favourite thing to do?
I’ve been to Canberra to perform at Floriade. I had a great time and met a big group of lovely lesbians from the crowd that offered to take me out on the town. We went to a gay bar called Box (or maybe it was “Cube” and I just made it dirtier) and partied the night away. My only other memory from Canberra is $2 shots at Mooseheads and that didn’t end well for me or my bathroom.
4) What question do you always wish would get asked in interviews, but you’ve never been asked?
Have you ever bungy jumped nude?
