LOW FREQZ aims to showcase quality electronic music from around the globe to open-minded Canberra audiences, with a strong emphasis on bass and beats. The night will pioneer both new and classic music from a number of sub-bass oriented genres, including (but not strictly limited to) Dubstep, Grime, UK Funky, Future Garage, D’n’B, Hip-Hop, IDM, Glitch as well some proper woknky beats.

Delivering the music will be resident DJs both experienced and fresh D’OPUS, JEMIST, FAUX REAL and CED NADA (aka Roshambo).

Taze now open

A new Mediterranean restaurant has opened, four doors down from Tongue & Groove on Genge street, Canberra City.

The restaurant, Taze (pronounced Tar-zay) is set to encompass a fusion of Greek and Turkish cuisine in an up-tempo city atmosphere.

“We are the first in the capital to serve one metre long pide, which has been brought to Canberra from Turkey by our chef, Oscar,” said Nathan Lamont, Restaurant Manager.
