Triple J presents The Yacht Club DJs: Batten Down the Hatches Tour, with very special guests DZ and Howl.

Crowd pleasing mash-up duo the Yacht Club DJs are back after a string of manic music festival performances. Late last year, the pair took their infectious brand of sugar pop infused with hardcore, punk and hip hop mashes on the road, selling out their national Kleptomania Tour.

The Chief Minister’s Cocktail Party last night, marked the second judging round for the Myer Face of Canberra Racing competition at Kamberra Wine Company.

The top 10 faces flounced down the runway with grace and finesse. Judging proved to be a difficult task for Lisa Ridgley, 106.3 personality, Brian Cronk of Myer, Elkie Stuart, 2009 Myer Face of Canberra Racing and OutInCanberra’s very own Natalie Tsirimokos.

After a few minutes deliberation, the top 3 contestants were announced to a room of eager guests – Aprelle Coady, Brittney McGlone and Jenny Tiffen.

Mix together music, culture, art and wonderful people, and the solution is bound to be a success. This is the equation that Corinbank Festival has perfected after their third year of operation.

Corinbank was split up into two stages, (Gibraltar Grove, Billy Billy) the circus stage known as The Bally, and the creative workshops that sat in between the two main stages. Over the three days, workshops ranging from tarot card reading through to body painting, and over fifty musical acts appeared in the backdrop of the luscious Corin Forest.

Bluejuice are dainty fellows. They know how to set a dining table, and they know the call of a rainbow lorikeet when they hear one. They’re too polite to take the last hors d’oeuvre, and they walk on the outside of a footpath to protect their lady-friends from a vehicular drenching on a rainy day. Bluejuice are your seats down, coats around, and doors open type of guys.
