Masterpeices from Paris @ National Gallery of Australia

Masterpieces from Paris: Van Gogh, Gauguin, Cézanne and beyond features 112 of some of the best-known works of modern art from the Musée d’Orsay in Paris, one of the great museums of 19th-century art.

Famous works include Van Gogh’s Bedroom at Arles 1889, Cézanne’s beloved Mount Saint-Victoire c 1890, Gauguin’s Tahitian women 1891, as well as many other great examples of Post-Impressionist art. Australia Day Live 2010: More acts announced

Canberra is gearing up for a diverse night of entertainment at the 2010 Australia Day Live concert on Monday January 25. Bob Evans, Evermore and Hayley Warner will be joining the likes of Bertie Blackman, Cassie Davis and Ian Moss on the lawns of Parliament House for this year’s concert.

Kevin Mitchell, lead singer of much loved Perth indie band Jebediah, is now an ARIA award winning singer-songwriter in his own right, performing under the name Bob Evans.
