Sneaky perform ‘Around the World’ cover

The doors opened to over a thousand party goers and die hard sneaky fans, that filled a gig-ready UC Bar last Saturday night, 2nd May.

Canberra DJ Ashley Feraude got the sea of young punters grooving till the poptronica trio emerged at 10.30pm.

Miss Connie pulled out the crowd favourites and chart climbing singles, with her swarovski studded microphone glittering under the coloured strobes.

The sea of fans were rowdy, but proved themselves as true die-hards, singing, screaming and crooning every song, word for word.

The near freezing conditions didn’t deter punters from racing, tasting, browsing and grazing last Monday, Anzac Day long weekend.

The OutInCanberra Race ‘n’ Taste kicked off at 10am with the betting ring, traditionally the heart of Canberra racing, transformed into a market day atmosphere.

Everything from Turkish Gozlome, to soy candles and local fashion was on display, including handmade cards and spicy mulled wine for warmth.

SYTYCD has been the talk of the town. Coming into the last week of the show and with the announcement of the SYTYCD Australia Live Tour coming to Canberra, I’m very excited that I get the chance to chat to former-Canberran and Top 10 contestant, Timomatic.

A bit of a crowd ‘fave’ Tim presented himself as the man with the performing package. Firstly a singer, second a dancer, Timomatic’s talent and smooth charisma had countless standing ovations throughout the series.
