One of the first things you notice about the Blue Rock Bar is that it’s neither an Irish pub nor a nightclub; instead it’s a tasteful breath of fresh air for Tuggeranong- a sophisticated and laid back lounge bar.

Opening late last year, owner Chi Demolis says it’s not all solid wood furniture and beer, ‘it’s lounges and cocktails,’ making the lounge bar located in along Tuggeranong’s South Life strip, a much needed up-market relax pad for South Siders.

Corinbank is back in ’09. The award-winning, music, arts and adventure festival is set to be staged in the stunning mountain setting of Corin Forest again this year, on 27th Feb – 1st March.

Only 45 minutes drive from Canberra’s City centre Corin Forest last year proved a magical site for Corinbank.

Nestled in the mountains, the Corinbank site stretches for kilometres; with a handful of stages, a bunch of markets, flurry of workshops, un-expected creative campsites and a multitude of activities along the way.

Sub-Urban is the latest addition to Dickson, re-igniting its spark with the bustle of sunshine beer gardens and good company, 7 days a week.

A unique concept, Sub-urban is a suburban pub with a twist, featuring Canberra favourite Belluci’s Restaurant inside the venue.

“We wanted to create a place that provides a quality food and drink pub experience,” said part-owner Socrates Kochinos.
