For a warm, friendly and inviting dining experiencing, Anise Restaurant on West Row in the city will more than fit the bill. Located in the iconic Melbourne Building, Anise is situated among some of Canberra’s finest restaurants and wine bars.

Opened in September of 2001 by husband and wife team Jeff Piper and Justin Kavanagh, Anise offers patrons a relaxed dining atmosphere with modern Australian cuisine.

As Nature Intended, seems like it would be more at home in Melbourne rather than Canberra, but this Organic Café and Wholefoods store brings something unique to the nation’s capital.

Originally established at the Belconnen Markets, As Nature Intended has recently opened a second store in the New Acton precinct.

Establishing a fine dining restaurant in Belconnen was never going to be an easy task for the owners of the new Sogni D’oro.

Located on the ground floor of the Waterside apartments in Belconnen, the restaurant with its Italian inspired menu has already provided another level of dining for the residents of the area.

Although the aim for the restaurant is service with an emphasis on fine dining, the lunchtime menu is a little more casual with an atmosphere that does not intimidate the customers.
