A new dining experience in Canberra is opening soon. Set to be located in the heart of the city inside Novotel Canberra, One Restaurant & Bar boasts the best of contemporary Australian cuisine, away from the bustle of the City’s main street – one floor up.
Head Chef, Beau Ridgers will lead the team at One Restaurant & Bar, with a career that has seen him Head Chef at The Menzies Sydney and achieve culinary successes at El Questro Wilderness Park, Western Australia – amongst other renowned dining establishments.
“El Questro was one of my favourite jobs. Just working out in the middle of nowhere, ordering and receiving stock each week, wilderness for miles,” Beau said.
Newly appointed at the Novotel Canberra, Beau is rolling up his sleeves, ready to steer the One Restaurant & Bar ship to culinary stardom in the capital.
“I’m creating a ‘choose your own tapas menu’ for One Restaurant & Bar and using great local produce throughout. I’m interested in stimulating the local cliental. It’s about great food and good wine.”
