Braddon locals may have noticed an empty space on the corner of Mort St and Elouera St, where Pita Pit used to be – the neighbouring Black Fire Restaurant has taken the opportunity to expand their business, with plans to open a new tapas and pintxos bar.
The new section will offer tapas, pintxos and sangria; perfect for an after-work drink or catching up with friends.
Once the renovations are complete, the restaurant’s entrance will be next to BentSpoke, on Elouera St. The outdoor dining area will also be moved over to Elouera St.
Black Fire are known for their unique Mediterranean cuisine, and specialise in meats, seafood and vegetables rustically cooked in an open fire roast.
Don’t worry, the restaurant will remain open while the new space is fitted out, with the expansion expected to be completed at the end of the month.
