In partnership with Accor, 2020 will see Canberra Labor Club adjoin with a new-build Mercure Hotel. Offering five-storeys and 125 rooms, the midscale hotel will be accessible via a connecting walkway, allowing guests easy access to all the entertainment facilities.
Located in the heart of Belconnen on Chandler Street (opposite the Belconnen Bus Interchange), the Canberra Labor Club is the ideal meeting place, whatever the occasion. Providing a complete service of ambient entertainment for members and their guests, their facilities include a TAB, coffee shop, internet terminals and free wifi, bar lounge, live bands and three large screen projectors for all the best sporting events.
The Canberra Labor Club’s huge footprint makes the venue ideal for pre or post wedding gatherings, engagement/ birthday parties/ reunions as well as Christmas parties. From the spacious main lounge or covered outdoor areas The Canberra Labor Club is well equipped to take on large crowds.

You’ll find an extensive menu in a laid-back environment, the Bistro is a great place to enjoy a meal with friends or family. From crowd favourites such as pizza’s and burgers to the classic seafood and Grill there are plenty of options to choose from. The team are also well versed in their large Asian style menu, dishing out wok favourites. Take long lunches on the al fresco dinning balcony complete with heating and cooling for comfort all year round.
The Canberra Labor Club play an important role in engaging the local community. Supporting over 85 local community groups, schools and non-profits, The Labor Club has been giving back to Canberra for 40 years! From Staff volunteering days with Oz Harvest through to Community Contributions the club loves to collaborate.
