If your idea of a good time involves a bit of sweat, a lot of endorphins and bragging rights over brunch, then the latest Eighty8 Games event, ENGINE, has your name written all over it.
For the first time ever, Eighty8 Health Performance is opening its fitness competition to the public on Saturday 3 May.
If you’re a member, you’ll be familiar with the full-throttle Eighty8 Games events that follow each consecutive 12-week training block, where participants come together to celebrate their progress, cheer each other on and compete to win in their respective categories.
This time round, it’s ENGINE – a 45-60-minute partnered workout that targets both your heart rate and muscles. Expect a mix of erg machines, running, bodyweight and functional movements, all designed to test your endurance, strength and grit. From first rep to final sprint, you’ll finish as a team.
Whether you’re a fitness fiend, love a challenge while working up a sweat, or trying to make up for those neglected New Year’s resolutions, this is your invitation to join a community workout that’s anything but average.
Think of it as a community-driven showdown, where consistency meets competition.
The best part? It’s open to everyone.
With coaching guidance, movement regressions and a focus on inclusivity, ENGINE welcomes first-timers, come-backers, and competitive types alike. Plus, winners and runners-up will be crowned in male, female, and mixed pair categories—so you might just walk away with more than an adrenaline rush.
Bring a friend. Challenge your partner. Cross the finish line together (drag them if you have to).
Saturday 3 May, 07:30am at Eighty8 HP Brindabella. Get your tickets here.
