R&B star Ciara has helped a Canberra dance troupe reach millions of people after sharing a clip of the dancers.

Xtreme Stars, a dance team for people with Down syndrome, rehearse every week at the Tuggeranong Arts Centre, and the filming of one of their recent dances is warming hearts across the world.

The Instagram video was tagged #levelupchallenge to take up the challenge set by Ciara, who launched the challenge in the wake of her new song Level Up.

On Sunday night, Ciara saw the Canberra dancers and shared the video to her 19 million followers.

“My heart completely melts,” Ciara posted with the video.

“You guys inspire me so much! Nothing can stop you!”
