In December 2010, damaging flood waters hit parts of Queensland, leaving absolute devastation in their wake. By mid-January 2011, three quarters of the state was declared as a disaster zone, and the floods had continued south into Victoria causing further chaos.

While recovery work is now underway, the clean up has only just begun and those affected are only beginning to count the cost of the damage.
