Dickson has earned quite the reputation as a beloved neighbourhood foodie precinct. It’s arguably Canberra’s most popular destination for Asian cuisine, famed for the laksa and dumplings in the area; it’s a well-respected spot for great coffee and study dates; even the shnitty’s at the Tradies are an experience to brag about. At the centre of it all is Woolley Street, and as part of the City Renewal Authority effort to create a more vibrant, people-focussed Dickson for businesses and the community, an inaugural Great Woolley Street Feast will be brought to life on Saturday 9 November from 6pm – 9:30pm.
The Great Woolley Street Feast will feature eight quality restaurants in Dickson’s best-known dining district, who will deliver a mouth-watering outdoor feast the length of Woolley Street, all accompanied by live, local music.
For the ultimate foodie experience, guests will get a seat on the long table and have their very own custom event bowl and utensils to ensure you are ready for an hour and a half of non-stop eating by the participating venues.
