Been wracking your brains on how to get the perfect Insta smoothie bowl without the $18 bill to follow?

Here’s our perfect DIY Smoothie Bowl you can whip up regardless of what’s hanging in your freezer. Even better, it’s VEGAN FRIENDLY.

 

These bowls only take 5 minutes to make and are a fun way to experiment with your creative side. We like our bowls extra creamy and frozen, so be sure to always have some fruit ready in the freezer for your smoothie bowl creations!

 

This recipe can be altered with various frozen fruit

 

       1 frozen banana

       Handful of frozen mixed berries or mango

       Handful of spinach (If you want a green kick)

       1 scoop of protein powder of your choice (optional)

       Splash of water

       1 cup of ice cubes

 

Place all ingredients in food processor or blender until smooth and thick. More or less water may be required for the consistency you desire. (Thicker is better for decorating your masterpiece!)

 

Place your frozen fruit into a bowl and smooth over the surface. Top bowl with any fresh fruit of your choice (strawberries + blueberries + kiwi fruit work well)

Add desired toppings for flavour and a nutritional boost, some I love using are:

 

– vegan granola

– pumpkin seeds

– coconut flakes

– cacao nibs

– chia seeds

– hemp seeds
