The Canberra Wine District’s inaugural Stomp Festival is back this week, celebrating the harvest of our beautiful cool climate wines over the entire weekend from 5-6 April.

Opening their cellar doors, Canberra’s wineries and wine makers will have exclusive tastings, live music, gourmet food, and interactive experiences on offer, making it a must- attend for wine lovers and foodies alike.

As the name suggests, grape stomping is a must-try part of the festival, inviting Canberrans to be apart of some of our wine district’s next releases. A unique and fun experience, follow it up with a tasting and sit back as you sip on wines all afternoon after your efforts.

Event highlights include a long lunch at Gundog Estate prepared by Grazing Restaurant, playing winemaker for the day at Lerida Estate Wines, and feasting in roast rolls among art and wine at Capital Wines.

From hands-on workshops to laid-back picnics among the vines, this year’s Stomp Festival promises an unforgettable weekend of indulgence and finding your new favourite wine.
