Art blows at Canberra Glassworks – but in a good way.
The Inner South Arts Hub and Canberra Glassworks are hosting Art After Dark on Friday 10 November with a series of demonstrations and workshops, including:
Torchlight Tours: Enter the bowels of the Canberra Glassworks and explore the behind the scenes nooks and crannies of the century-old building.
Artists in action: See demonstrations from hot to cold, kiln to flame and artisans in their natural habitat.
Glam Slumps: Make your own glam slump, a little fused slumped dish to hold all those things that don’t have a place to live in your house.
Beer, Burger, Blow: Book your very own hot glass experience and make your own paperweight or bird and afterwards enjoy a juicy Brodburger and a cold Capital Ale in your very own handcrafted stein that is yours to keep.
Afterparty: See local bands and DJs, buy a drink at the open-air bar, and sit back and take in the tunes.
