Providing a multi-entertainment venue with games and activities for the whole family to enjoy, it was no surprise when Kingpin took home the Favourite Entertainment award for the 2021 People’s Choice Awards.
Located in the Canberra Centre, it’s pretty hard to miss the bright neon lights of the arcade games, wide opening spacing of the bar area, and plenty of noise and activity happening behind the entrance.

“We get everything from corporate fun days, to kids birthday parties. We cater to everybody,” says Kingpin Canberra Venue Manager Sean Mawbey.
What makes Kingpin hard to beat, is the fully licenced bar and restaurant. Offering a venue where entertainment and hospitality meet, Kingpin is your one stop destination.
“Entertainment needs food and beverage. Why not have somewhere where you can just hang out and do everything in the one place. It’s a fully intergraded night out,” says Mawbey.
You can truly eat like a king when it comes to the menu. They have everything from a range of small plates perfect for sharing, such as fried chicken, haloumi bites, satay chicken skewers and prawn tacos, to bigger meals such as nachos, pizza and burgers – which we’re told the Kingpin signature beef burger is a real winner for those with a huge appetite!
For something sweet to finish the night, the dessert menu comprises of epic fully-loaded shakes, injectable donuts, an ice cream sundae and even a Nutella pizza. Also open for breakfast, there is nothing Kingpin doesn’t offer.
In terms of drinks, the cocktail menu is something to talk about. In the signature list, light fruity flavours stand strong, meanwhile the ‘high roller’ menu packs more of a punch. Perfect for groups, the share cocktails promise flavours that everyone is sure to enjoy. Or go sweet and try a hot chocolate with a shot of whisky or rum.
Enjoyed perfectly in the outdoor balcony or indoor booths, in between games or after your activities have ended, it’s the perfect place to watch the sun set and see the hustle and bustle of the city come to life.
