Today, the Canberra Centre has revealed that three iconic Australian fashion brands, Kookai, Rebecca Vallance and Scanlan Theodore are among the new retailers that will contribute to an all Australian Designer Development in the centre.

Following the announcement of the highly anticipated opening of MECCA’s new concept store (one of the biggest in the country), this will form part of the centre’s ongoing reconfiguration and upgrade works in the Ainslie Mall, with these retailers expected to open in spring.

“We’re thrilled to bring some of the best Australian designers to Canberra Centre. The addition of Kookai, Rebecca Vallance, and Scanlan Theodore reflects the growing confidence in Canberra’s retail industry,” says General Manager of Canberra Centre, Gary Stewart.

“We are committed to creating a unique retail experience and continuing to support the local community by bringing leading brands to the heart of the capital,” he says.

In addition, these stores will join the permanent relocation of the Aje pop-up store and a Chanel Fragrance and Beauty store, which is expected to open later in the year. Further enhancing the luxury offering on Level 1, the Australian Designer Development will also feature additional stores, which will be revealed in the coming months.
