Returning for a special anniversary pop-up, the beloved Canberra festival that brings the best of local street-food culture to one place, The Forage is ten, and you’re invited to celebrate.

Hosted at the picturesque Mount Majura Vineyard on Saturday 9 November, from 12-7pm, the festival will transform the winery grounds into a vibrant showcase of local food and beverage vendors, live entertainment, masterclasses, and tours of the winery.

“Nearly 10 years ago to the day, we launched at Mount Majura Vineyard as part of the Wine, Roses and All That Jazz Festival. It’s incredibly meaningful to come full circle a decade later and celebrate this milestone with the community that’s supported us from day one,” says Founder, Belinda Neame.

On the day, expect to see 20+ local food and drink stalls, exclusive masterclasses (new to this year) including cheese & wine and cheese and gin, vineyard walks with Mount Majura’s viticulturist and general manager James Hopper, family-friendly lawn games and entertainment, and live music.

Encouraging you to take a little bit of The Forage home, the festival has launched a new product offering – The Forage Pantry. An all-local pantry, it includes a delightful selection of homemade preserves, tea, chocolate, and other specialty items.

“The Forage has always been about supporting and connecting small businesses with the wider Canberra community, and with the launch of The Forage Pantry, we’re excited to offer another way for artisan creators to showcase and sell their offerings to our food enthusiastic audience,” says Neame.

“Bring your friends, family, doggos, picnic blankets and your appetite, and join us for a day of great local food, fantastic wine, and a spot of shopping in The Forage Pantry in the heart of Canberra’s wine country,” she says.

Tickets for the masterclasses are now available. Visit The Forage for more info.
