The 2009 National Capital Craft Beer Festival will be held on Saturday 26 and Sunday 27 September.
Following the huge success of the 2008 beer fest the 2009 festival will be held over two days and include; an extensive selection of craft breweries showcasing up to 80 beers, local gourmet food stores and live entertainment from 6.30pm, continuing into the night.
Saturday will feature live entertainment with rockers Mental As Anything plus all the action of the AFL Grand Final on the big screen, all while enjoying the fine beer of the day.
Sunday will play host to high energy live music with Canberra hip-hop exports Casual Projects and the addition of the Crafter Chef Competition.
Crafter Chef will see local Chefs mix fine food with craft beer; with Chefs from Debacle, All Bar Nun, Zierholz Brewery and other iconic Canberra venues battling it out for the Crafter Chef title. Come down and cheer on your favourite venue!
Entry $25 + bf includes a commemorative tasting glass and 10 tasting tickets. Extra tasting tickets $1 per ticket, entertainment throughout the day + loads of giveaways.
