In conjunction with Canberra Glassworks and The Italian Embassy, NewActon presents the ultimate Venetian style Carnevale.
Raising money for one of Canberra’s oldest and newest cultural institutions, Canberra Glassworks, indulge yourself in an evening of themed Italian food, dance and music, stunning Venetian glass display and the opportunity to get up close and personal with some of Australia’s finest glass artisans; Giles Bettison, Joanne Bone, Nick Mount, Tom Rowney & Benjamin Sewell.
Be enchanted by stunning Italian chamber music, strings performances and Commedia dell’arte Venetian theatre as you dine in ultimate style at your choice of restaurant. A word of warning though, our lovely maschera di polizia (mask police) will be on patrol collecting donations from anyone who dares not wear their mask for our beneficiaries!
We promise to entertain, educate and captivate. Join the roving minstrels, jugglers and performers and be seduced by a world NewActon elegance or shop by moonlight for hand-made glass in our ‘Glassworks at The Diamant’ store.

A percentage of event proceeds will be donated to Canberra Glassworks and the Yarralumla Italian English Primary School.
