Lerida Estate on the Federal Highway at Lake George is one of the most attractive wineries in the Canberra District. Lerida makes some of the best Shiraz in the Canberra District having collected nine Trophies and over 50 Gold and Silver medals in the last 10 years – just for these wines. November provides an opportunity for Lerida to showcase these award-winning varieties. During November receive a FREE bottle of the 2013 Shiraz when you purchase any six wines (or you can choose from four other wines). As well, go into a draw to win a bottle of the multiple trophy-winning 2013 Shiraz Viognier valued at $75.00. There is one winner every week.
On Sundays, visitors to Café Lerida can enjoy FREE live jazz from some of the best jazz musicians in Australia between 12.30 – 3.00pm. Sally Greenaway (one of the best jazz pianists in Australia) – along with Phil Dick on bass and Steve Richards on percussion – kick off the jazz program on Sunday 1 November. Subsequent Sundays feature Mike Dooley & Rachel Thorne, Dirk Zeylmans & Lachlan Coventry and Leisa Keen. On the last Sunday in November Lerida welcomes ‘The New Savages’ from Melbourne. They are actually blues musicians – but they were visiting the area on this weekend, so be sure to head out and enjoy their amazing sounds.

Having lunch at Café Lerida is always a relaxing
and satisfying experience. The café serves delicious seasonal food sourced from local producers. Start the meal with a Truffle Bread, then try one of our platters, a homemade pie (a very popular dish!) or in the warmer months, one of our salads. There is also an extensive dessert menu.
During November, Lerida will be offering a special price on ther Shiraz & Shiraz Viognier wines at the café.
Other FREE activities on offer at the winery include the Lake George Range Walk and Petanque/Boules. Lerida also provides a vineyard/winery tour and tutored tastings for a small fee.
