Kicking off this weekend, two of our favourites have collided to produce the pop-up of the century! Lark Hill Winery (makers of the most delish Riesling, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Gruner Veltliner) meets Agostinis, one of Canberra’s favourite Italian restaurants.

Lunch in the vines, overlooking the stunning views, pinot in hand and a selection of Agostinis’ best dishes on the menu will transport you to the heart of Tuscany.

Since 1978, Sue and Dave Carpenter, and now their son, create some of the region’s best organic, biodynamic and sustainable wines just a short 30-minute drive out of the heart of Canberra. We then have Dan and Dion Bisa alongside Roman-born Executive Chef Francesco Balestrieri of Agostinis, who are hopelessly devoted to authentic and soul-satisfying Italian food.

Put the two together, with a drizzle of scenic summer vineyard surrounds, and it’s a match made in heaven.

You’ll find Agostinis’ classic dishes including calamari fritti, prosciutto e rucola pizza and tiramisu as well as some exciting new dishes designed to reflect the beauty of the surroundings.

If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, or just some great food and wine… this is the perfect excuse for a mini weekend escape. Dogs and children are also welcome!
