Last night Restaurant & Catering Australia announced the winners of the 2023 Restaurant & Catering Hostplus Awards for Excellence for the ACT, with Les Bistronomes claiming the prestigious Restaurant of the Year award.

Recognising local hospitality workers who consistently provide exceptional service and demonstrate culinary excellence in their respective fields, a number of local businesses received awards amongst a broad range of categories.

“We are extremely pleased with the culinary expertise and high standard of service this year’s winners provide. We thank everyone who came out to celebrate the achievements of our industry and its highest achievers,” said Restaurant & Catering CEO, Suresh Manickam.

Including Les Bistronomes, this year’s standout winners were The Ginger Group in Weston Creek who received the Caterer of the Year award and The Boat House, winning Best Contemporary Australian Restaurant.

“The R&CA feels an immense amount of pride to represent an industry that provides such enormous contributions to Australia’s culinary arts scene, and to formally recognise the very best of each state and territory,” said Manickam.

The awards also bid farewell to beloved Indian restaurant Daana who won Best Indian Restaurant after announcing earlier this year they were closing their flagship restaurant in Curtin.
