OutInCanberra is pleased to announce that the Annual Fireside Festival is taking place throughout August again this year.This year’s hosts include Poachers Pantry, Grazing, Lamberts and Madew. These award-winning venues offer spectacular views of the countryside and roaring log fires. Each weekend in August will be filled with plenty of ‘Fireside’ activities.
Week 1
This weekend’s activities include the Lantern Cinema at Grazing, the Long Lunch at Madew’s, Dean’s Degustation featuring Shiraz and Wagyu beef at Lamberts and Fireside Fives, an eclectic collection of local guitar artists at Poachers Pantry.
Week 2
This weekend Madew is hosting ‘Vine Fire’ an amazing Fireworks spectacular. At Lamberts you can relax by the fire and enjoy a long lunch. Enjoy the funky sounds of local Jazz bands at Poachers Pantry or visit Gundaroo and try a taste of Grazing with a five course fireside Degustation menu.
Week 3
This weekend Poachers Pantry is hosting Fireball, a charity dinner to raise funds for the local Bush Fire brigades. Other weekend events include a Fireside Degustation dinner at Lamberts, pre-dinner cocktails at Grazing and the long lunch is back at Madew; perfect for skiers.
Week 4
Celebrate the last week of winter at the Fireside Festival. Put on your dancing shoes and dance the winter away with rock and roll music at Lamberts. Or enjoy Grazing’s Signature Fireside event, the annual ‘Duck and Pinot’ dinner; 7 Courses of duck matched to 7 exquisite Pinot Noirs. Or visit Madew and try their delicious a la carte menu whilst listening to live music. And round off the weekend with a sensational Blues performance at Poachers Pantry.
