In celebration of a new Lunar Year, the Year of the Rooster, and of course good fortune and prosperity, the Vikings Group will be hosting a vibrant and colourful celebration this month at each of its venues.
According to the Lunar cycle, the Year of the Rooster is all about awakening and prosperity. This theme will set the scene for an amazing line-up of events at the Vikings clubs throughout the month, including decorations, delicious Asian street food, free lion dance performances, an all-you-can-eat New Year banquet, and a host of lucky red envelope promotions and good luck giveaways.
In true ceremonial spirit, Vikings Lanyon and Town Centre will host traditional dances performed during Lunar New Year celebrations to ward off evil spirits through the thunderous sound of loud drums.
Partaking in the joy of Lunar New Year with a feast of traditional foods is known to bring good luck – so the Vikings’ chefs have put together a selection of Asian street food known to bring good fortune and luck for the year ahead.
